Buying the correct size for you can be tricky when shopping online.
I have come up with my own size guide for Bellicious based on world standard measurements & then added some so my sizing is on the generous side.
I also design with online shopping in mind so I tend to steer away from designs that are quite tailored or that need to be custom fit.
The fabrics I select also have plenty of stretch so you can be sure they will not only fit but they will be comfortable to wear as well.
If you are unsure of what size to buy, most online shops will provide measurements for each size selection. They are normally the bust, waist & hips. Another really useful measurement to check is length as so many labels coming out of overseas factories tend to make everything short!
To measure yourself, you need a tape measure & a friend to help! It is preferable to have only light clothing on, if any, to take your measurements for greater accuracy.
For the BUST measurement, wrap the tape right around your bustline over the widest part & where the tape meets again is your measurement.
For the WAIST measurement, wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso normally between your rib cage & belly button & record the measurement.
For the HIP meausurement, wrap the tape around the widest part of your bottom & where the tape meets, is the measurement.
